In partnership with the Mayor of London and the Department for Education (Skills for Life campaign), WYK Digital is breaking down barriers and opening doors to exciting digital careers for Londoners.
These fully funded Skills Bootcamps and Early Careers Development Programme are designed to equip you with in-demand skills, connect you with leading employers, and launch your professional journey – all completely free for eligible Londoners or co-funded for employers looking to upskill staff.

Our Programmes
Skills Bootcamps & Early Careers Development
Our full-time, intensive programmes are built with employers to ensure you gain practical, industry-ready skills and real-world experience. All programmes are designed for Londoners and delivered in a hybrid format, combining remote learning with some in-person sessions.
Digital Marketing Skills Bootcamp
Duration:
10 weeks, full-time (Monday-Friday, 10 am-4 pm), comprising 110 hours, with 20% delivered on-site (in-person).

What You'll Learn:
Digital Marketing Fundamentals: Core concepts, strategy, social media, search, display, analytics, and e-commerce.
Specialist Track: Deep dive into Paid Search (Google Ads), Paid Social (Facebook & Instagram Ads), or Programmatic.
Real Client Experience: Work in teams on live campaigns for a real business, developing plans and presenting results.
Essential Skills: Excel training and masterclasses from industry experts on key digital topics (e.g., Data Visualisation, Email Marketing, SEO).
Employability Support: CV preparation, understanding industry roles, and interview readiness.
Potential Career Paths:
Digital Marketing Assistant, Paid Media Specialist, Social Media Coordinator.

Data Analytics Bootcamp
Duration:
14 weeks, full-time (Monday-Friday, 10 am-4 pm), comprising 140 hours, with 20% delivered on-site (in-person).
What You'll Learn:
Data Analysis Essentials: Fundamentals of data analysis, key industry tools and techniques, data visualisation, and communicating insights.
Technical Data Skills: Hands-on training in SQL and Excel, led by industry experts. Includes Premium DataCamp access.
Live Data Project: Work on a practical project to build a portfolio, showcasing your new skills to employers.
Employability Support: Prepare for job applications and interviews with dedicated guidance.

Early Careers Development Programme (LEAP)
Programme Title:
LEAP: Leadership, Empowerment And Progression
Start Date:
September 2025
Duration:
60 hours of training and coaching, with 20% delivered on-site (in-person).
What It Is:
A government-funded programme, up to 90% covered, designed to educate, engage, and support early talent, improve retention, and elevate career journeys.
Course Pillars:
Personal Effectiveness: Maximising productivity, building self-confidence, managing responsibilities.
Interpersonal Skills: Effective communication, collaboration, navigating professional relationships.
Workplace Navigation: Understanding workplace dynamics, addressing challenges, contributing to an inclusive environment.
Structure:
Includes 10 x 4-hour hybrid workshops and 10 one-to-one coaching sessions. Post-programme support is also provided.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for our GLA-funded programmes, you must meet the following criteria:
Age
Aged between 19-40 at the start of the programme.
Residency
Live in the Greater London Area.
Right to Work
Have the right to work in the UK full-time.
Prior Residency
Lived in England for at least the last 3 years.
Education Status
Open to employed, self-employed, unemployed, or returning to work.
Previous Bootcamps
Have not previously started a Skills Bootcamp funded by the DfE within the current funding year (April - May).
Employers looking to upskill staff can also access co-funded places on our Skills Bootcamps.

Our programmes are for London residents aged 19 and over with the full-time right to work in the UK. You must have lived in England for at least the last 3 years and not be in full-time education or have previously started a DfE-funded Skills Bootcamp. Specific age criteria for Data Analytics is 19-40.

Yes, our Skills Bootcamps and the Early Careers Development Programme are fully funded by the Greater London Authority (GLA) for eligible Londoners, meaning they are completely free for you. For employers looking to upskill their staff, co-funded places are available.

The Digital Marketing Skills Bootcamp is 10 weeks, full-time (Monday-Friday, 10 am-4 pm). The Data Analytics Bootcamp is 14 weeks, full-time (Monday-Friday, 10 am-4 pm). The LEAP programme is 60 hours of training and coaching. All programmes are intensive and require full-time commitment.

No prior experience in digital marketing or data analytics is required for our Skills Bootcamps. They are designed to take you from a complete beginner level to industry-ready. We look for enthusiasm, curiosity, and basic digital literacy.

The application process involves an initial online application form, a review of your eligibility, a pre-interview task, and an informal online interview with a member of the WYK team. If successful, you will be invited to enrol.

You will receive comprehensive employability support, including assistance with CVs, interview preparation, and opportunities for direct introductions and interviews with our network of hiring partners. Our goal is to support you in securing a role in the digital industry, and we provide continuous guidance and progression support.

Our Skills Bootcamps are full-time programmes and typically do not fit around full-time work. However, many learners manage to work part-time (evenings or weekends) around the programme. If your employer wishes to send you on the programme, co-funded places are available for businesses.
