“It’s not what you know but who you know” - so goes the old adage. WYK Digital is a social enterprise with a mission to turn that situation on its head.
We empower young people from all backgrounds to take that first step on to the ladder of a digital marketing career. Our mission is to make success in the digital age accessible to young people regardless of their start in life.
The average WYK cohort is majority female, with over 75% of our young people coming from under-represented backgrounds. We’re a mixed ability course, so many WYKers don’t have a degree, and a large number are in receipt of Universal Credit.
In addition, we help businesses recruit young people who are ready to kick on with a career in digital.
Our results so far have been astounding, with 70% of graduates in employment. Our programme is free of charge to all participants.

At WYK we believe anyone with the right motivation, work ethic and attitude can succeed in a digital marketing career. With our WYK accelerator programmes you’ll obtain coaching from industry veterans, who’ll combine theory and practical training to open the door to a career in digital.

Graduates from our programmes are equipped with the skills and mind set to succeed in digital jobs. They have completed industry recognised certifications and have been coached by experts from a range of digital disciples. We de-risk hiring smart, motivated young people from all backgrounds.
Educational Intensives with practical skill development
Our 11 week educational program gives young people a grasp of all fundamental aspects of digital marketing. We combine e-learning, 1-2-1 coaching and most importantly, hands-on experience of managing actual digital campaigns to prepare our students for what a career in digital has in store.
