What is Salesforce?

  • Salesforce is a widely-used customer tech/CRM platform, helping businesses across many industries manage customer data. It’s used across sales, service, marketing, commerce, IT teams - and more!

  • This programme focuses on technical administration working with the Salesforce platform. This role involves consulting, project delivery and management, technical support and data analysis. It’s a varied, challenging job and a great way to break into tech.

  • A typical job title following this programme is Junior Salesforce Admin.

  • Long term, a Salesforce admin role is an excellent gateway into a technology-focused career, with big brands using customer tech or with consulting firms who provide services to those companies.

Customer Tech Fundamentals

Learn the essentials of working in customer tech, including CRM fundamentals, teamwork and communication skills.

Learn Salesforce

Led by an industry expert, you’ll get hands-on in Salesforce learning your way around the platform, and work towards gaining the Salesforce Admin Certification.

Showcase your Skills

You’ll work on a Salesforce project to showcase your skills and finish the programme with a case study to show employers.

  • WYK is a full-time programme, running 10am-4pm Monday-Friday. This time consists of a mix of taught sessions, group work and self-study.

  • No! This programme is designed to take you from complete beginner level to ready to work in customer tech. You do not need any experience with Salesforce or CRMs, but during application we look for enthusiasm and curiosity!

    You will need basic digital literacy skills to complete the programme. If you’re not sure if this programme is for you, complete the application and you’ll be invited to a taster session to learn more.

  • Apply via the form here. We will review your application and eligibility and invite you to a Taster Session.

    Taster Sessions are interactive group sessions, usually online, which give you a sense of the programme. This will help you to decide if this is the right fit for you, and gives plenty of opportunity to ask questions.

    We’ll then invite you to an informal interview (online) with members of the WYK and Prince’s Trust teams. There will be a short task set to complete before the interview.

    If successful, you’ll be invited to enrol in the programme.
